Our current activities include operating the Dublin Tunnel and the Jack Lynch Tunnel in Cork, overseeing 470 km of Ireland’s motorways and working on major transport projects and mobility services. With over 600 staff in Ireland across 16 offices nationwide, we are committed to enabling sustainable economic development while addressing climate change and reducing carbon emissions. The Egis engineering division is now almost 200 people strong across four offices in Dublin, Castlebar, Cork and Limerick.
Job Description We are searching for a Structural Engineer that will be responsible for the project management, design, and monitoring of construction projects, primarily within residential, commercial, and healthcare sectors.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for the project management, design, and monitoring of construction projects, primarily within residential, commercial, and healthcare sectors.
Qualifications
* Strong communication and teamwork skills, liaising with clients, design team, contractors, local authorities.
* Preparation of detailed structural designs, analysis and specifications, overseeing preparation of detailed structural drawings and review of design submissions.
* Proficient in AutoCAD and Structural Design Software
* Experienced in site monitoring and attendance at site meetings
* Ability to work on multiple projects
