Job Description:
We are seeking a caring and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team in Sligo. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable individuals in their own homes, providing person-centered care that prioritizes their needs and dignity.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing emotional support and companionship to service users
* Assisting with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
* Supporting service users with medication management and other healthcare needs
* Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A full clean driving license and use of your own vehicle
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to work flexibly and respond to changing circumstances
* A kind and empathetic nature, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care
Preferred Qualifications:
We welcome applications from candidates with relevant qualifications, including QQI Level 5 Care Skills and QQI Level 5 Care of the Older Person.
