Location
We are now looking for a new Commercial Manager in Burnfoot, Ireland.
Responsibilities
* Legal, commercial, and contract management of key projects from inception through to handover.
* Providing guidance to project/technical teams, identifying legal and contractual issues, and resolving them constructively.
* Monitoring and maintaining contractual agreements within project timelines, including sub-contractor management.
* Ensuring all contractual entitlements are captured, submitted, and resolved with customers.
* Monitoring project expenditure and controlling costs.
* Handling contract variations and claims management.
* Managing all financial and managerial aspects of projects.
* Leading and managing the commercial team members.
Qualifications for success
* Minimum 5+ years' experience in a similar role.
* Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Strong legal contracting background with a commercial focus.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Construction law qualification.
* Experience with construction claims, arbitration, or adjudications.
* Experience working with large contracting organizations.
* Knowledge of ERP systems.
