Vibrant is looking for a proactive, commercially driven Business Development Manager/Sales Manager to support and accelerate the growth of a well-established HVAC-R business operating across Ireland.
This is a relationship led role focused on winning new business and nurturing existing accounts. You’ll be out meeting clients, opening doors, keeping relationships warm once projects are complete, and generating opportunities for the technical sales team to convert into live projects.
This position suits someone who enjoys being on the road, talking to people, understanding client needs, and spotting opportunities others might miss. This is a collaborative, hands-on environment where everyone works together to get results.
What you’ll be doing as Business Development Manager/Sales Manager
* Identifying and developing new business opportunities across Ireland
* Managing and growing relationships with existing clients and key accounts
* Keeping clients engaged post project to secure repeat business
* Opening doors and generating qualified opportunities for the technical sales team
* Promoting service and maintenance offerings alongside project work
* Attending client meetings, site visits, and industry appointments
* Delivering presentations to contractors, consultants, and end clients
* Recording all leads, activity, and opportunities accurately in the CRM system
* Working closely with internal teams to ensure opportunities convert successfully
* Working from home with regular travel to clients and sites weekly, with occasional overnight stays
Who you’ll be selling to as Business Development Manager/Sales Manager
* B2B customers including offices, retail, data centres, healthcare, hospitality (hotels, bars), includes some major clients. Mechanical contractors and mechanical consultants. Specifiers and national account customers
* Projects include air conditioning, refrigeration, hospitality fit outs, and emerging design & build work
What we’re looking for in a Business Development Manager/Sales Manager
* A confident, professional, and personable individual who builds trust quickly with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a business development/sales management role
* Proven track record of winning and managing B2B business. HVAC and or Refrigeration, engineering, or building services knowledge is highly desirable
* Full driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide
* Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working with autonomy and someone who values teamwork

* Salary: €60,000–€65,000 per annum (more could be considered for perfect experience)
* Bonus: 15–20% performance-based bonus
