Job Title: Store Manager
About the Role:
The Store Manager is a vital position that requires a strong leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our store. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the success of the store by meeting and exceeding sales targets, managing staff, and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
Main Responsibilities:
* Sales and Operations: The Store Manager will be responsible for every aspect of the store's operations, including sales, staff management, customer experience, security, health and safety, stock management, and resource allocation.
* Staff Management: The Store Manager will be responsible for recruiting, training, coaching, and managing staff in accordance with company policies, ensuring fairness and consistency for all employees.
* Visual Merchandising: The Store Manager will drive excellent visual merchandising in the store to engage, inspire, and educate customers.
* Security and Health & Safety: The Store Manager will ensure all in-store services are suitably staffed and promoted, monitor potential shoplifters, and follow security guidelines to deter pilferage and protect stock. They will also be responsible for overall health and safety in the store, ensuring all staff are fully trained and following company policies and procedures.
* Customer Requirements: The Store Manager will identify current and future customer requirements and develop additional non-direct business opportunities.
* Project Implementation: The Store Manager will ensure the successful implementation of projects in line with company expectations.
* Store Standards: The Store Manager will deliver excellent store standards consistently in line with business audit requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Experience: 2-3 years of retail management experience is required.
* Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, people management, and leadership skills are essential.
* Product Knowledge: Strong product knowledge is required.
* IT Skills: Proficient IT knowledge, including Excel, Email, and SAP, is necessary.
* Educational Qualification: A 3rd Level Business/Retail Management qualification is beneficial but not essential.
