Role Overview The Senior Salesforce Developer will play a key role in designing, developing, and leading the delivery of complex Salesforce solutions.
This position requires 5–8 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with deep expertise in Apex and custom coding, and the ability to drive technical decisions across enterprise-scale implementations.
Key Responsibilities Design and develop robust, scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and SOQLLead the development of complex customisations, including triggers, batch processes, and asynchronous jobs Translate business and functional requirements into well-architected technical solutions Provide technical leadership, mentoring junior developers and supporting code quality standards Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and event-driven patterns Perform code reviews and enforce best practices around performance, security, and maintainability Own end-to-end delivery of development work across multiple environments Support release management, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and performance issues Contribute to architectural decisions and long-term platform strategy Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and recommend improvements Required Technical Skills & Experience5–8 years of Salesforce development experience Strong hands-on expertise in: Apex (advanced classes, triggers, batch, queueable, schedulable)Lightning Web Components (LWC)SOQL and SOSLProven experience designing scalable data models and complex business logic Strong understanding of Salesforce security, sharing, and governance Experience with Salesforce declarative tools (Flows, Validation Rules, Automation)Solid experience with Git-based version control and Salesforce DXExperience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments Deep understanding of Salesforce governor limits and optimisation techniques Desirable Skills Experience in multi-org or enterprise Salesforce environments Integration experience with platforms such as Mule Soft or custom middleware Experience across multiple Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing)Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I & II highly desirable)Experience working in Agile delivery teams Soft Skills Strong technical leadership and decision-making abilities Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of delivery Mentorship mindset with a focus on team development Education Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
