Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused professional to manage various finance tasks within our busy and multi-functional team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, solid finance knowledge, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support financial operations by performing tasks such as VAT queries, regulatory reporting, and month-end/year-end financial close processes
* Reconcile supplier turnover with the general ledger to ensure accurate calculation of customer rebates
* Post rebate journals to customer accounts on a monthly basis
* Liaise with a nationwide network of member companies to resolve queries regarding rebates and supplier trading terms
* Assist in the preparation and coordination of annual audits
* Generate monthly customer purchase reports
* Work closely with senior management to assist with general finance queries and project-based work
Skills & Experience Required:
* Strong Excel skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
* Previous accounts or finance experience; IATI qualification or part-qualified accountant desirable
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Proactive, organized, and able to manage tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment
