Financial Accountant - Hybrid (Drogheda, Co. Louth)
We are currently partnering with a leading international FMCG business that has grown into a global success story. Specialising in the production of the world's purest baby wipes, their products are trusted by parents and healthcare professionals in over 60 countries. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Financial Accountant to join their Finance team on a hybrid basis from their Drogheda headquarters.
Responsibilities
* Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS/FRS 102.
* Assisting in the consolidation of group accounts and preparation of management reporting packs.
* Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
* Ensuring compliance with statutory, tax, and audit requirements.
* Driving improvements in financial processes, systems, and internal controls.
* Partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver financial insights.
Candidate Profile
* Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
* Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in a similar role, ideally within FMCG, manufacturing, or a multinational environment.
* Strong technical knowledge with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel capability.
* Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable in a dynamic working environment.
