Biotech Commercial Attribute Scientist - Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

Our client is a leading international Biotechnology company with a state-of-the-art aseptic manufacturing facility in Dun Laoghaire, South Dublin.
The plant is among the most dynamic in Ireland and is currently undergoing rapid expansion and capital investment.
This role offers excellent experience at Ireland's leading aseptic manufacturing plant.
This is an on-site Laboratory-based role responsible for Analytical Support activities, including:
* Analytical Method Troubleshooting
* Analytical Method Lifecycle (Development, Qualification, Validation, Remediation)
* Support for Process Development and Qualification activities at the site and network
The successful candidate will have proven analytical experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry, a right first-time mindset, teamwork skills, excellent communication, and a focus on customer needs.
This role is troubleshooting/service focused, not routine sample testing.
Key skills include Data Integrity principles, Quality and Compliance in the laboratory, and good presentation/influencing skills.
Responsibilities include analytical method troubleshooting, qualification, validation, bridging, transfer; supporting Process Development and Qualification; documenting data; understanding data flow and integrity; participating in peer reviews; ensuring SOP compliance; maintaining safety and environmental standards; and supporting audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
* Degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related discipline
* 3-6 years relevant pharmaceutical analytical experience
* HPLC experience essential; technical interview focus
* Advanced user of Empower CDS
* Strong troubleshooting skills, hypothesis testing, and design of experiments
* Subject Matter Expert in various analytical methods (e.g., Sub Visible Particle Analysis, KF Moisture, pH, Osmolality, Density, Raman, FTIR, NIR, UV/VIS)
* Experience with chromatographic methods (HPLC, UPLC) with UV, RID, Mass Spec detection preferred
* Excellent communication skills
* Experience with regulatory inspections advantageous
* Teamwork and influencing skills
* Proficient in problem-solving tools and techniques
* Knowledge of process validation and change control processes
* Ability to use statistical tools for troubleshooting
* Strong planning, organization, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Package
* Minimum 12-month contract with potential extension
* Onsite role, five days per week
* Core hours: 08:30 to 17:00, Monday to Friday
