Senior Electrical Project Manager Job Overview

This senior role involves overseeing the delivery of full electrical scopes on complex builds, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and commercial targets.


Main Responsibilities:

* Oversee all electrical elements from early planning through to final client handover.
* Ensure regulatory compliance, including current industry standards and national electrical guidelines.
* Lead and coordinate on-site teams, including direct labour and subcontractors.
* Manage technical submissions, design coordination, and quality documentation.
* Implement and monitor health & safety practices and environmental procedures.
* Maintain programme timelines and manage budgets to deliver profitable outcomes.
* Provide leadership on testing, commissioning, and certification processes.


Key Requirements:

* 5+ years in a similar role within the construction or industrial electrical sector.
* Educated to third-level degree or hold an electrical trade qualification.
* Strong project planning and resource management capabilities.
* Familiarity with electrical testing procedures and regulatory frameworks.
* Proficient in MS Project, Excel, and related tools.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
* Track record of delivering medium to large-scale electrical installations.
* Experience with safety-focused environments and procedures.
