We have a heritage in the production of handcrafted artisan-type products and employ over 500 people across our Kildare and Westmeath facilities.
This role will be based at our Green Farm Site in Rathowen, Co. Westmeath, where the team consistently delivers and produces innovation in chicken and turkey products to make eating well easy for everyone.

Role Purpose
This is a People Lead role within the Operations Department responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the department.
* Manage daily people safety in all relevant areas including yard, canteen, toilets, changing rooms, and assigned work areas.
* Oversee daily standards and compliance related to people, product, and premises quality.
* Control operational costs through appropriate staffing, achieving target yields and OEE, and optimizing resources and processes to ensure best-in-class operation.
* Assign staff to work areas, ensuring all relevant training is completed and performance standards are met.
* Maintain training records and improve team skills scores, ensuring adequate deputization capabilities.
* Manage staff holidays for operational consistency and compliance with working time directives, planning holidays appropriately and managing absences.
* Handle daily HR issues professionally, seeking guidance when necessary.
* Investigate and address persistent issues impacting safety, quality, or performance, ensuring communication and timely action.
* Ensure assigned actions are completed and results are sustained.
* Represent the area professionally and calmly at all times.
