Widely regarded as one of the leading insurance litigation firms in Ireland, we offer a specialist service to our clients.Corrigan & Corrigan are seeking to recruit an office & finance manager to join our busy team.Please note that this role is office-based in Dublin 2.Office & Finance ManagerRole & ResponsibilitiesACCOUNTSDay to day responsibility for accountsTo keep the firm's accounts up to dateSignificant data entry – speed and accuracy essentialAll bank reconciliations and month-end reporting along with all other reconciliationsCredit ControlAccounts PayableCompliance with Solicitors Accounts RegulationsOnline Banking, cheque payments and enforcement of verification policies and proceduresBilling and invoices on each matterMaintaining all necessary and appropriate records in compliance with all relevant regulatory and office requirementsGenerating reports and distributing to partners. Overseeing action required to be taken in respect of sameManaging aged debtSupporting fee earners and support staff on billing and funds transfer transactionsRevenue online – Withholding tax- VAT returns – Payroll returnsAssisting external auditors and accountants with SARs reporting and year-end accounts preparation.FACILITIESProvision of appropriate facilities for staffOffice equipment and the related maintenance contractsLiaison with all suppliersEnsuring facilities comply with Health & Safety regulationsMaintaining all required office inventories – equipment, IT, service provider contact details, etc.PURCHASINGOrdering and monitoring of office supplies and paymentsPurchase agreements with external suppliers.STAFF RESOURCING & HUMAN RESOURCESStaff managementPayrollSupervision of secretarial and administrative staffAppropriate allocation of work to legal secretaries and executivesRecruitment of secretarial and administrative staffSourcing of temporary staff where appropriateTraining of secretarial and administrative staffManagement of support coverInduction process for new staffMaintain records of sickness and holidays and management of bothImplementing and maintaining HR policies and procedures to support a positive workplace environment.INFORMATION TECHNOLOGYStrong IT skillsLiaison with external providers to ensure that IT infrastructure is appropriate for the needs of the practiceProviding internal IT support to staffIT usage policy e.g. e-mail policyPhone systemManagement and understanding of Case Management system (Keyhouse), SAM and Sage.INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONSWorking with the Head of Communications to ensure the efficient flow of information within the practiceRegular meetings with support staff, and fee earners as required.THE PERSONPrevious experience in a legal practice including staff management and payroll – minimum 3 years' experienceA highly motivated individualHighly developed organisational skills with an ability to take on and complete multiple tasks within agreed timescalesProven ability to take responsibility and act on own initiativeHighly professional – committed to excellence in approach to workWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office and ideally Keyhouse Case ManagementCapacity to communicate effectivelyAppreciation of the sensitive nature of the information that the post holder will be privy to and the need for absolute discretion and trust.This is a great opportunity to join a prestigious, specialist firm with the opportunity to guide the financial strategy of the organisation.If you wish to apply for this role, please email a CV and cover letter to: Closing date for applications is end of day, Tuesday 10th September 2025.
