St. Michael’s House is recruiting Social Care Workers to provide person‑centred support for five individuals with intellectual disabilities in Artane, Dublin 5.

Permanent, part‑time.
Location
Artane, Dublin 5.
Key Responsibilities
Work with a skilled and responsive staff team, the Social Care Leader, multi‑disciplinary team and families to deliver high‑quality services.
Provide person‑centred supports to ensure a good quality of life for the residents.
Implement positive behaviour support plans and promote independence and community integration.
Essential Criteria
Previous experience supporting individuals with intellectual disability.
Experience working as part of a team.
Experience implementing positive behaviour support plans.
Experience in a key working role focusing on promoting independence and community integration.
Excellent communication skills.
Full clean driver’s licence and willingness to drive where required.
Eligible to work in Ireland.
Essential Qualifications
QQI Level 7 Bachelor of Arts in Applied Social Studies (Disability) – Open Training College.
Level 7 award in Social Care/Studies delivered by TUD, Institute of Technology, DIT or National University of Ireland.
CORU registration.

Salary: €40,851 – €57,217 per annum (point 1 – point 15) on a 39‑hour week, pay scale based on experience. New public sector candidates placed on point 1.
