Sponsorship is not available for this role.Atrium Global is partnering with a leading client in the biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry to hire multiple QC Analysts to support laboratory testing and batch release activities within a GMP-regulated environment.Job OverviewThis role will support Quality Control laboratory operations, performing analytical and cell-based testing to enable batch release, technical transfer and validation activities. You will work within a GMP laboratory environment, executing assays, analysing data and supporting investigations to ensure high standards of quality and compliance.RESPONSIBILITIESExecute and support batch release testing, technical transfer and co-validation activitiesAccurately document all laboratory work in line with GMP standardsReview data and perform routine data analysisAssist with investigations of OOS results and perform trending analysisWrite investigation and technical reports as requiredUpdate and issue documentation, including SOPsSupport qualification of laboratory instrumentsPerform instrument performance checks and calibrationAssist with troubleshooting laboratory instrumentationREQUIREMENTSPrevious experience with aseptic techniques, cell culture and handling cellsPrevious GMP laboratory experience1 to 2 years' experience with analytical techniques such as aseptic techniques, cell culture, cell-based bioassays or ELISA is advantageousMinimum BSc in Biochemistry or a related scientific discipline (recent graduates considered)Ability to work independently and identify anomalous trends or resultsStrong problem solving skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a teamNICE TO HAVEExperience working with laboratory instruments and instrument performance activities
