Senior Emergency Medicine Specialist
Cork University Hospital is seeking an experienced and dedicated consultant in emergency medicine to lead its dynamic and progressive Emergency Department. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the continued development of emergency services within a major tertiary hospital, while living in one of Ireland's most vibrant and liveable cities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the ED Team: Guide and support a multidisciplinary Emergency Department team, including NCHDs, nursing, and allied health professionals.
* Deliver High-Quality Care: Provide fast, effective, and evidence-based treatment to patients in a busy emergency setting.
* Drive Innovation: Contribute to service development and quality improvement projects aligned with the hospital's strategic goals.
* Collaborate Across Specialties: Work closely with colleagues in acute medicine, surgery, ICU, and hospital management to enhance patient flow and service delivery.
Requirements:

* Strong clinical leadership and communication skills.

* Active IMC Specialist Registration (or eligible) in Emergency Medicine.
