37804 Confined Competition - Assistant Staff Officer – Examinations & Awards
SETU wishes to recruit an Assistant Staff Officer Grade 4 to work in the Examinations and Awards area. This key administration post will be based on Carlow Campus. The role is integral to the proper administration function of the Academic Administration and Student Affairs Office. The successful candidate will be centrally involved in the administration of academic processes, including embedded award creation, examination scheduling, examination setup and session management, coordination of the invigilator pool for exams and with Graduation.
Hours of Work: The appointee will be required to work 35 hours per week together with any such additional hours as may be required for the proper discharge of their duties.
Salary: Grade IV Salary Scale: €38,599 - €54,911
Annual Leave: 23 days annual leave. Annual Leave will be in accordance with arrangements authorised by the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science from time to time

Essential for Confined Competition:
* have at least two years in a Grade III post, or equivalent, or higher, in the Education and Training Sector
* have successfully completed their probation period, or have successfully completed a probation period at a lower eligible grade
