**Electrical Operations Maintenance and Instrumentation Calibration Program Manager**
This role is responsible for overseeing the site electrical operational maintenance and instrumentation calibration program, ensuring efficient operation and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of employees and outside contractors/vendors to maintain site electrical infrastructure and instrumentation equipment in a qualified state to support production operations.
* Monitor E&I team performance, identify skills gaps, and drive professional development to build technical capability and high-performance competences within the team.
* Promote a culture of safety and safe working environments by implementing and promoting safe work practices, training staff, and conducting regular safety audits.
* Participate in HAZOP and risk assessment reviews to identify and mitigate operational risks.
* Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and company policies (such as HSA, EPA, NSAI/ NIST, ISO/IEC/EN, IEEE).
* Oversight of maintenance and performance of site electrical infrastructure and equipment to ensure safety, performance, and effectiveness.
* Responsible for the site calibration program for instrumentation equipment to ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and company policies.
* Develop and implement strategies to enhance the safety, reliability, and performance of electrical and instrumentation systems.
* Ensure maximum uptime of equipment by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
* Assist in determining root cause of equipment failures and identification of effective corrective actions to resolve recurring E&I issues.
* Evaluate and manage contracts with vendors and service providers, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective solutions are provided.
* Optimize E&I budgets and resources by implementing cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or safety.
* Maintain and update documentation, including electrical schematics, loop diagrams, and control narratives.
* Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of new E&I projects, from planning to completion.
Requirements:
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems.
* Previous experience in managing teams or projects demonstrating leadership and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Instrument Engineering or higher.
* 8 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
