* Tuesday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
* Saturday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
* (Closed Sunday & Monday)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a friendly and motivated Retail Receptionist and Sales Assistant to join our team. This is a customer-facing role that combines front-desk reception, in-store sales, and administrative support, including Shopify-based online sales and booking deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
Reception Duties:
* Greet and welcome customers professionally.
* Answer phone calls and emails; handle inquiries and bookings.
* Provide information on products, services, and promotions.
* Maintain a clean and organised front desk area.
Sales & Customer Service:
* Assist customers with product selection and advice.
* Process payments through POS (cash/card).
* Upsell and cross-sell products.
* Handle queries, complaints, and returns professionally.
* Ensure the sales floor is tidy and well-stocked.
Shopify & Online Sales (if applicable):
* Update products and inventory on Shopify.
* Process online orders and manage stock coordination.
* Track analytics and support reporting on sales trends.
* Assist with social media content and promotions.
Administrative & Store Support:
* Support with store opening/closing duties.
* Monitor stock and assist with inventory management.
* Help with merchandising and visual displays.
* Maintain accurate records of sales and customer interactions.
* Book deliveries and ensure timely dispatch coordination.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Previous experience in retail, customer service, or receptionist roles preferred
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Familiarity with Shopify and online order processing is a plus
* Availability to work the scheduled hours, including Saturdays
