Healthcare Assistant – South Kilkenny – Weekend Hours
Bluebird Care Ireland is recruiting a dedicated Healthcare Assistant for weekend shifts in South Kilkenny.
Role Overview
A Care Assistant delivers personal care and supports clients in their own homes, implementing care plans and promoting comfort, dignity and well‑being.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the client in their daily activities.
* Pay due care and attention to all aspects of care duties carried out on behalf of the client.
* Provide a high standard of care, in compliance with Bluebird Care policies.
Qualifications & Experience
* QQI Level 5 modules in Care of the Older Person and Care Skills/Healthcare Support, or a minimum of one year caring experience and willingness to undertake the two modules.
* Demonstrated compassion, empathy, patience and good communication skills.
* Ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.

* Enhanced pay rate €14.50‑€16.00 per hour (experience & qualification).
