Our client is a well-established and growing SME firm of Chartered Accountants based in Dublin South/City. The firm advises a broad and diverse client base across sectors including property and construction, financial services, technology, marketing and communications, and not-for-profit organisations.
The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, the firm is now seeking to appoint an experienced Audit and Accounts Manager. This is a key role within the practice and will suit a commercially minded professional who enjoys client-facing work, team leadership, and playing an active role in the ongoing development of a progressive SME firm.
The position offers a clear pathway to Senior Manager, Director, and ultimately Partner level for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities
* Managing the day-to-day delivery of audit and accounts assignments
* Managing a portfolio of audit and accounts clients, providing high-quality accounting and advisory services
* Acting as a key point of contact for clients, maintaining and developing long-term relationships
* Planning, resourcing, and reviewing audit and accounts work to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met
* Mentoring, supervising, and developing junior and part-qualified staff
* Assisting Partners with workflow management, billing, and profitability across assignments
* Identifying opportunities to add value to client relationships and support business development initiatives
Candidate Profile
* ACA / ACCA / CPA qualified
* Typically 3-6 years' post-qualification experience in practice
* Currently operating at Audit & Accounts Manager or experienced Assistant Manager level
* Strong audit background with solid exposure to SME and owner-managed clients
* Confident people manager with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
* Commercially aware with strong client communication skills
* Ambitious and interested in long-term progression within a growing practice
