Job Title: Operations Technician
Expertise is sought in the field of operations support, where an experienced technician will work closely with teams to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless system functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Installation and maintenance of systems at various sites.
* Collaboration with suppliers and operators to troubleshoot complex technical problems.
* Resolution of service-related issues through efficient software troubleshooting, firmware upgrade, hardware repair, and customer training.
* Development and update of comprehensive documentation covering operations support aspects.
* Management of incident faults related to vehicle equipment and relevant back-office systems through a centralized service desk.
* Support for ongoing and new project initiatives within the Transport Technology directorate.
The role requires frequent on-site visits to Service Providers and end-users premises, necessitating travel throughout Ireland, primarily focused on the greater Dublin metropolitan area.
Requirements:
* More than three years of experience in similar technical service environments.
* National Craft Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Automotive fields.
* Ability to comprehend and troubleshoot intricate technical environments.
* Demonstrable capacity to identify and rectify technical issues.
* Systems analysis and design experience, with excellent customer-facing skills.
* Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications.
