Role Purpose

The role of Electrical Project Manager will have you working across large-scale electrical projects in an ever-expanding company. You will manage the end-to-end stage of the construction phase and will be responsible for planning, coordination, leading and controlling of all aspects of the project. You will be the clients' main point of contact and be responsible for building positive relationships with them.

Electrical Project Manager Responsibilities

* Lead tender handover sessions and complete thorough project validation including business case development, cost management framework, cashflow forecasting and billing schedules
* Create detailed procurement strategies, design coordination plans, delivery programmes with supporting s-curves and manpower allocation charts
* Work with Operations Director to secure appropriate project resourcing and define success criteria with clients
* Establish project-specific EHS and quality frameworks aligned to ISO 9001:2015, then mobilise contractors and site facilities accordingly
* Serve as primary client interface while directing your site team through effective daily operations management
* Monitor programme adherence, material supply chains and technical deliverables to maintain project momentum
* Implement ongoing EHS and quality audits with appropriate documentation, including delivery of site-specific briefings
* Facilitate contractor coordination sessions(including BIM) and represent H&F at client progress reviews
* Oversee financial performance alongside Commercial Manager/QS, flag variations and communicate potential challenges to clients proactively
* Track site productivity metrics weekly, maintain programme oversight and provide monthly performance updates to Operations Director
* Maintain comprehensive project records in folders and QMS system alongside daily site documentation
* Partner with Commissioning Manager to verify all testing and commissioning activities meet quality standards
* Obtain certification for critical life safety installations, conduct system demonstrations and complete detailed handover walkthroughs
* Deliver operation and maintenance documentation plus as-built drawings to clients
* Finalise accounts with QS and secure client agreement, then manage closeout activities including retention collection and defect resolution
* Coordinate site demobilisation, prepare comprehensive closeout documentation, complete project archiving and support warranty obligations
* Drive lessons learned reviews, participate in monthly management forums, advance your professional development and cultivate lasting client partnerships
* Stay informed on regulatory changes and emerging industry practices while coaching less experienced project personnel

Requirements

* Electrical Trade background
* Ideally 5+ years' experience in similar role
* Previous experience in PSCS role
* Have commercial knowledge and an ability to estimate
* Ability to plan and manage programme
* Excelling communication and Negotiating skills
* Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to motivate your team
* Eligible to work in Ireland
* Full clean driving licence
