Job Description
As a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor you will be part of a strategic team responsible for Network Design, building and deployment. This position will be a focus on process automation in a secure, high performance, highly available, and fully resilient infrastructure across multiple core locations. The ideal candidate must possess extensive experience in networking and design and capable of working in a highly complex, dynamic environment. You will be expected to have strong IT experience and a solid understanding of core IT knowledge in networking and some understanding of netsec, firewalls etc.
Your responsibilities will include :
Manage mechanical plant for 1 million sq feet of offices and manufacturing
Manage PPM's/breakdowns for 30 3rd party contractors who maintain plant and equipment ie compressors, fire pumps and fire system, vacuum skid, heat pumps, boilers, loading bays and dock levellers, AC systems, BMS, Drainage etc
Maintaining close relationships with contractors and client
Review contractor maintenance reports and chase quotes for recommendations and remedial works
Ensuring all works carried out are completed on time and to standard.
Attend weekly meetings to update client on issues, expenses and recommendations
Present quarterly business reviews to the client to update on works complete and issues arising
Monitor and repair parts of the building management system
Organise daily duties for team of 7 plumbers including in-house PPM's i.e. water heater checks, plantroom checks, FCU and chilled beam maintenance, AHU maintenance, front of house checks etc
Ensure all EH&S documentation is completed and up to date by HAON team and contractors
Manage service channel request i.e. air con complaints, leaks, issues with toilets, fixtures and fittings, kitchens, plant areas, mechanical blinds
Manage 24/7 on call cover
Skills And Requirements
Minimum 3 years of relevant maintenance experience is preferred.
Trades Certificate preferred. – (Instrumentation or Mechanical)
Solid understanding of maintenance standards and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in using equipment, hand tools, power tools, and maintenance software.
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify deviations from standard procedures.
Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Knowledge of maintenance systems, methods, and procedures
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Flexibility to respond to emergency situations as required.
