We’re hiring for a Management Accountant on a 12-month FTC to support our growing Finance team!To keep up with our growth in the UK and Ireland, we’re looking for a Management Accountant to support in transforming the financial operations within NFP Ireland as the company continues to grow. You will assist the Financial Controller and the wider Ireland finance team in insourcing the accounting for a new acquisition, assisting with the integration of all aspects of accounting activity.We’re Looking For Someone WithDegree level or equivalent educational qualificationsFull accounting qualifications with 3 years’ experience in financial servicesStrong numerical and analytical skillsExperience with accounting software such as Workday, Oracle or SAP, is an advantage but not a necessityAdvance excel capabilities & willing to develop these as requiredExperience working towards tight deadlines in a fast-paced financial services organisationProven business partnering skillsUsing These Skills, You’ll BeProducing and reconciling monthly management accounts (P&L and Balance Sheet), investigating and resolving any discrepanciesManaging the month-end close process and delivering accurate, timely internal and Group reporting in line with deadlinesAnalysing financial performance through variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, providing clear and actionable insightsOverseeing monthly provisions and the bad debt process, collaborating with business leaders and presenting recommendations to the Financial ControllerMaintaining accurate accrued income balances with robust reconciliations, clear variance explanations, and compliance with accounting standardsPartnering with the Managing Director to understand business performance, providing insightful analysis, commentary, and decision supportManaging and reconciling bank accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recordedSupporting year-end audit processes, preparing audit schedules, and assisting wider team requirementsContributing to the development and implementation of financial policies and ensuring adherence across the businessSupporting the annual budgeting process, providing analysis and insight into key year-on-year movementsStrengthening financial controls by supporting, managing, and constructively challenging existing processesDelivering monthly income reporting, reconciliations, and forecastingDriving continuous improvement through automation, simplification, standardisation, and scalability initiativesSupporting the Financial Controller in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of statutory accounts, taking ownership of key processesCoordinating the statutory audit process for your business linePreparing and posting audit adjustment journalsAssisting with internal audit activitiesSupporting the preparation of regulatory and tax submissions (including CBI returns, VAT, and Corporation Tax), ensuring compliance and accuracyContributing to wider compliance activities across the businessSupporting the Financial Controller in driving integration and efficiency across finance systems and processesAssisting with bringing management accounts in-house and streamlining banking providersContributing to ad-hoc transformation and improvement projectsWhat You’ll Love About Working HereWorking in a dynamic, fast-paced organisation in an exciting industryThe opportunity to do globally impactful work from day oneLearning from industry and business line specialists with decades of experienceA huge variety of projects to work on and challenges to solveOur People First culture, which illustrates our commitment to your wellbeing and development, not just as an employee but as a human beingA rich suite of employee benefits and out-of-work perksFinancesIt’s important to know you’re paid fairly for the hard work you put in, which is why we complete regular reviews to keep your salary in line as you progress.
