We have an opportunity for a Sales Support Administrator to join the SuperValu Sales team. You will work with the central operations team and supporting the Supervalu Sales team projects and objectives, the role responsibilities include the following: The maintenance of the SuperValu sales department plan and supporting the rest of the sales team in their day to day roles in an admin capacity Identifying opportunities to proactively promote additional sales and management of orders via the pre-sell and pre-order systems. Analysing data to discuss promotions and opportunities with retail partners to successfully achieve agreed sales targets. Managing correspondence between the sales team and our retail partners (reports, best practice etc.) and offering our retail partners an exceptional level of service at all times Administrative support to the regional managers including providing data and reports to the team, management of diaries, retailer meetings, store standards databases, local marketing budgets, departmental projects, PO systems, Training & Development systems. Management of the daily tasks required around National and Local promotion distribution and implementation. Liaising cross functionally (IT, Marketing, Finance, Trading etc.) to resolve any queries via phone or email from retailers. Closing out any issues in line with the ICARE objectives. Ad hoc project work as required The successful candidates will possess the following: The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years experience in a varied office environment, with competent IT skills in Microsoft office especially Excel. The use of internal systems (Solar, PASS, Pyramid) while not essential would be advantageous. Candidates should have a strong customer service orientation coupled with excellent administrative, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to adapt to a varied workload. It is important that candidates can work on their own initiative, be organised as well as operating as part of the Sales Team. Candidates should also have experience of supporting Manager/Managers within a business unit as well as proven ability to effectively manage relationships with customers.
