Senior Psychologist Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forensic Psychologist to join our team as a Senior Psychologist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological services to individuals in custody, including assessment, formulation, and intervention.
About the Role
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Senior Psychologist to work with a diverse population of individuals who have been referred to our service due to mental health difficulties, offence-related needs, or other complexities. The ideal candidate will have significant experience working with forensic populations and a proven track record of delivering evidence-based interventions.
Responsibilities
* To complete comprehensive assessments and formulate individualized care plans
* To develop and implement behavior monitoring procedures
* To provide specialist contributions to multidisciplinary care and management planning
* To engage in and supervise evidence-based psychological interventions
* To assess and intervene with individuals presenting with a range of complex needs
Requirements
The successful candidate will hold a postgraduate professional qualification in Clinical Psychology or Counselling Psychology recognized by the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) or the British Psychological Society (BPS). They will also have a minimum of 2 years' post-graduate experience as a Psychologist. In addition to these requirements, desirable but not essential qualifications include experience of addressing emotional, mental health, and offence-related difficulties with a forensic population and group settings.
