We are seeking experienced and compassionate individuals to support adults with intellectual and physical disabilities, autism, and complex needs in community-based settings.
This role requires a minimum of 1 year's experience supporting vulnerable adults or individuals with intellectual disabilities. You will also need excellent communication, interpersonal, and IT skills (Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams, etc.)
Responsibilities:
• Promote independence and social inclusion for adults in your care
• Manage or respond to challenging behaviours
• Contribute to and evolve personalised care plans
Requirements:
• Minimum Level 7 QQI qualification in Social Care Studies (or equivalent in Health/Social Care)
• Full, clean manual driver's licence and access to own car
• Strong understanding of adult safeguarding legislation and national social care policies
