We are seeking a reliable and motivated Working Cleaner Supervisor to oversee the daily cleaning operations of our school. The successful candidate will ensure that high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety are consistently maintained throughout the building. There is a tea break during the shift.Starting Date: Monday 5th January 2026Contract: School year (term time)Hours: 3:00pm–7:00pm, Monday to FridayKey Duties & ResponsibilitiesSupervise cleaning staff and ensure tasks are completed to a high standardOperate the scrubber–dryer machine (full training provided)Lock up and secure the school building each eveningComplete daily checklists and report maintenance issuesEnsure stock levels of cleaning materials are maintainedFollow all health & safety procedures, including proper use of equipment and chemicalsCleaning classrooms, corridors and toiletsWashing tables and desksCleaning floors (mopping, sweeping, using equipment as required)Hoovering carpets and matsDusting surfaces and furnitureCleaning internal/external windowsEmptying bins and disposing of rubbish appropriatelyTopping up soap, paper towels and other hygiene dispensersMaintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all timesRequirementsPrevious cleaning or supervisory experience an advantage but not essentialStrong attention to detailAbility to follow instructions and work independentlyReliability, good timekeeping and a strong work ethicClosing Date: Friday 12th December @3pmJob Type: Full-timePay: €17.00 per hourBenefits:On-site parkingSick payExperience:Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)Language:English (preferred)Work Location: In personApplication deadline: 12/12/2025
