As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Junior Engineer to support document control, quality systems, and project compliance across multiple active projects.
Role Overview
This role is ideal for a motivated graduate or early-career engineer who wants to gain hands-on exposure to project delivery, documentation management, and quality assurance systems.
You will support the implementation and maintenance of document control processes and quality management systems (QMS) to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with company procedures, client requirements, and regulatory standards.
This is a structured development role with strong exposure to project operations, audits, compliance processes, and engineering documentation workflows.
Key ResponsibilitiesDocument Control
* Maintain and manage project document registers.
* Control issuance, revision tracking, and distribution of drawings, specifications, reports, and technical documentation.
* Ensure proper version control across all project documentation.
* Coordinate document submissions to clients and external stakeholders.
* Monitor and track document approval workflows.
* Support electronic document management systems (EDMS).
* Archive completed project documentation in line with company procedures.
Quality Management Support
* Assist in implementing and maintaining the company Quality Management System (QMS).
* Support preparation of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality documentation.
* Assist in internal audits and quality reviews.
* Track non-conformances and corrective actions.
* Maintain quality records and compliance documentation.
* Support project teams in ensuring adherence to ISO standards and client specifications.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Project Support
* Assist project managers with reporting and documentation compliance.
* Prepare quality reports and document status updates.
* Support risk register and action tracking.
* Ensure project files meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
Candidate ProfileEssential
* Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).
* Strong organisational and administrative skills.
* High attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
* Ability to manage multiple tasks across projects.
Desirable
* Familiarity with ISO 9001 or quality management systems.
* Experience using document management platforms.
* Understanding of engineering drawing standards.
* Previous internship or placement in engineering/project environment.
