This position is open for a permanent weekend day shift, with working hours as follows:
* Friday to Sunday: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
* Saturday to Monday: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm

Position Summary:
* Perform preventative maintenance, calibration, and repair of manufacturing equipment and other specialty support equipment used in the manufacturing process.
* Provide equipment and process support, including machine maintenance, to assembly lines.
Key Responsibilities and End Results:
* Perform preventative maintenance, calibration, and repair on component feeders and support equipment such as microscopes, haloes, soldering irons, hot air pencils, torque drivers, and other assigned equipment, following manufacturer instructions.
* Coordinate maintenance schedules based on the production schedule.
* Assist in ordering, inventory management, and sourcing of machine repair parts.
* Support manufacturing engineering technicians in production and process support tasks as assigned.
* Help process engineers locate parts and supplies for emergency line maintenance.
* Assist with the receipt, shipment, inventory, and processing of equipment in the maintenance management system.
* Support equipment crating, uncrating, line moves, and machinery installation as required.
* Maintain inventory records for manufacturing machines.
* Log maintenance activities in the database.
* Adhere to all safety, health, and security procedures and regulations.
* Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Person Specification:
* Proficient in MS Office with intermediate to advanced skills.
* Motivated, enthusiastic, with strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with cross-functional teams.
* Strong planning, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
* Fluent in English; eligible to work in Ireland.
* Proven ability to meet deadlines.
* Positive work ethic with excellent problem-solving skills.
Job Specifications:
The minimum education and experience required:
Essential Criteria:
* NFQ Level 6 or 7 in a technical discipline (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or Biomedical). Experience may substitute for educational requirements.
* At least 2 years of experience as a MET or similar role.
* Knowledge of Design of Experiment (DOE) is highly advantageous.
* Understanding of Design for Maintainability (DFM) and Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) is advantageous.
* Experience with SAP is highly advantageous.
* Experience leading projects is highly advantageous.
Desired Criteria:
* Level 8 degree in manufacturing technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or Mechatronics.
* Experience in electronic manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
* Experience leading process improvements or lean manufacturing activities is advantageous.
