Speech and Language Therapist Role
This is an exciting opportunity to make a valuable contribution to a busy service, providing comprehensive assessments to families.
As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will be conducting diagnostic assessments of individuals with suspected Neurodevelopmental conditions including Autism and specialist Speech and Language Therapy assessments using established tools.
* Conducting diagnostic assessments of individuals with suspected Neurodevelopmental conditions, including Autism and specialist Speech and Language Therapy assessments.
* Preparing detailed assessment reports in a timely manner, along with providing recommendations and interventions.
* Supporting the development and growth of junior staff members as needed.
* Bachelor's degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent CORU registered qualification.
* Eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland and commute to Swords/North Dublin.
* Experience in conducting diagnostic Neurodevelopmental/Specialist developmental assessments with children.
* CORU registration.
* Experience working with children and adults with neurodevelopmental disorders or mental health difficulties in a clinical setting.
* Familiarity with DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and relevant assessment tools for Autism and learning disability.
* ADOS-2/ADI-R training.
* ADOS skills.
* ADI-R expertise.
* Neurodevelopmental knowledge.
* Autism understanding.
* ADHD awareness.
* Report writing proficiency.
* MDT collaboration.
