The CRH Sustainability Team has an opportunity for a Graduate, for a twelve-month period, from January 2026 – December 2026. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly organized individual seeking the first step in their professional development. The successful candidate will gain first-hand experience of the processes involved in analysing and reporting sustainability-related data for a public company. This position will report into the Group Sustainability Risk Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* The Sustainability Review including processing and analysing Environmental, Safety and Social data submitted by CRH's Operating Companies covering over 3,100 locations in 28 countries
* Collating Environmental, Safety and Social data for internal and external reports and presentations, including the Sustainability section of the CRH Annual Report, the CRH Sustainability Report and a Report to the CRH Board
* Contribute to continuous improvement and development of best practice in sustainability
* Work with the Sustainability team in responding to internal and external stakeholder data requests
Individudal Competencies:
* A team player with the ability to contribute both individually and as part of a team
* Self-confident with strong interpersonal skills
* Excellent numerical/analytical and organisation skills
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Fluent in speaking English; other languages would be an advantage
* Have the ability to communicate effectively with strong written and verbal communication skills
* Have the ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
* Demonstrate integrity, trust and the ability to build relationships
Education and Experience:
* Have a background in statistical analysis/sustainability/environment/ engineering
* Educated to degree level
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word; previous experiences with databases would be an advantage
Flexibility is required within the role, which includes some core elements but also periodic emphasis on more project-type activities. This role is based in CRH's Stonemason's Way office in Dublin, Ireland and currently remote working arrangements are available.
