We are looking to add to our ever growing professional team.
The successful candidate will have a relevant trade qualification and at least 2 years post qualification experience.
The ideal candidate will have a background within a manufacturing/industrial business, preferably within the food or packaging industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance of the plant and equipment to optimum performance.
Be familiar with the daily production plan and work as part of the team.
Assist the Maintenance Manager with the implementation of preventative maintenance programmes for all machines.
Assist with the continuous monitoring of all machinery and equipment within the plant.
Ensure real time repair of machines and equipment to get them back up & running within optimum time frame.
Perform all pre start, hygiene and safety checks as necessary.
Report all faults, damages or electrical or mechanical defaults to the Line Supervisor, ensuring all machinery is only used when it is safe to use.
Record checks as and when directed.
Keep breakdowns to a minimum and increase machine availability through continuous improvement.
Document all aspects of maintenance work carried out and keep management informed of potential issues.
Adhere to company safety policies at all times.
Experience with electrical panels and fault finding is a must.

Role and Responsibilities
As an accounts assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department by performing a range of essential tasks, including but not limited to:
Knowledge, Skills and Requirements

Experience using Sage and Brightpay software would be an advantage but not essential
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem- solving skills
Strong Excel skills are desirable
Organised and efficient with excellent attention to detail
Ability to commute/relocate: Tyrrellspass, County Westmeath: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education: Leaving Certificate (preferred)

Job Vacancy: Loading Bay Supervisor
Within the Supply Chain team of a busy meat factory, you are responsible for;
Responsibilities
Ensure all quality, hygiene and health & safety policies are adhered to including manual handling practices.
Ensure all standard operating procedures (SOP's) are adhered to.
Ensure that product is picked to correctly meet order requirements and is rotated correctly with reference to batch numbers and dates.
Accurately record all relevant information on the appropriate handhelds and system required by Accounts, Supply Chain, Production, Quality and the Customer
Ensure that picked pallets are built correctly
Picking orders to customer requirements
Rotating stock
to meet Customer Specifications,
to avoid damage in transit,
to give optimum Truck Loading
Carcass loading
to facilitate a high Stock Count Accuracy internally.
Ensure that "a clean as you go policy" is adhered to at all times.
Work to the Customer Order Distribution plan for the duration of the shift on a work to finish basis.
Ensure the yard & outside of dispatch area is clean & maintained at all times during a shift to audit standards
Follow & enforce Standards across the site
Secure site after hours (Locking of main building, all access gates across the site & to check at regular intervals they remain secure)
Provide access to site for confirmed vehicles out of normal hours via the secured front gate Interface with Hauliers/Drivers and ensure that the company is seen in a positive light.
The loading & unloading of vehicles both inside & outside of the warehouse is done so in accordance with health & safety procedures & followed at all times

Driving License
Fork lift licence
Previous experience within a Warehouse environment is desirable
Good level of English
Must be flexible with working hours
Job Vacancy: Lairage Operator and Carcass Grading
Duties:
Safeguard the wellbeing of livestock
Identify grade & isolate grade C, sick or injured animals or cattle not likely to pass post mortem inspection.
Keep the abattoir serviced with livestock, and enough feed for same.
Move livestock to secure holding pens causing minimal stress
Ensure cards are entered correctly & in a timely manner that does not cause delays in production
Keep the lairage facilities clean and tidy
Ensure Management of farmers in lairage to ensure they respect site rules.
Adhere to Company hygiene practices & animal welfare procedures
Comply with health & safety rules, to prevent / minimise the risk of accidents
Participate in training, in accordance with your personal training plan
Carry out any additional duties that may be reasonably requested by the management
Alerting abattoir Manager &/or Maintenance Manager of any maintenance issues within the lairage & ensuring they are rectified in a timely manner
Grading carcass - Training provided
Shift Pattern: 6am - 5pm Monday - Friday
Requirements
Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but full training will be given for inexperienced people keen to learn the trade
Familiarity with AIMS and cattle intake systems and procedures for entering cards; common card entry issues and resolutions etc.
Able to use own initiative
Self-motivatedAble to work as part of a team
Basic literacy and numeracy skills
Experience with livestock, desirable but not a requirement
Certificate of competence certified, desirable but not a requirement

Job Vacancy: Night Shift Production Cleaner
A Night Shift Production Cleaner is required for Troy Meats Processing Plant.
The cleaning operative will work as part of the night shift hygiene team from Monday to Friday.
The hours of work are 4:30pm-3:30am.
Full Training will be provided.
Duties to include the following:
Cleaning all production areas and all production equipment to a very high standard
Operation of cleaning equipment in a safe manner at all times.
Work in a safe and efficient manner using supplied PPE
Adhere to safety data sheets for chemicals and standard operating procedures.
Work as part of a small team.
Entry level, previous industrial cleaning experience beneficial
An ability to work to deadlines
An ability to work on own initiative.
