The successful candidate will enjoy the challenges of working as part of a multi‑disciplinary team and possess the following minimum skills.RequirementsBachelor of Science (Honours) in Human Nutrition & Dietetics from the University of Dublin, Trinity College Dublin & the Dublin Institute of TechnologyBachelor of Science in Human Nutrition & Dietetics with honours classification from the University of Dublin, Trinity College Dublin and a Graduate Diploma in Human Nutrition & Dietetics from the Dublin Institute of TechnologyQualification in Dietetics at least equivalent to the above; any foreign qualification must be validated by the Irish Department of Health & ChildrenMinimum three years post‑qualification dietetic experience in a Senior Dietitian roleCORU registrationExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, adaptability, motivation and innovation, good IT and analytical skillsJob DescriptionProvide an evidence‑based dietetic service to the Bon Secours Hospital Tralee inpatient and outpatient community within a best‑practice frameworkPerform nutritional assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of treatment/intervention programmes for Service Users according to professional standards; identify requirement for oral/enteral nutrition support and/or therapeutic dietMake highly specialist clinical decisions following assessment of complex casesProvide outpatient service on site at the Kerry GAA centre of excellence in Currans, Co.
