Role Overview
The Clinical Nurse Manager 1 will play a central role in the care of children with burns, plastic injuries, or conditions requiring plastic surgery.
They will support caring for children within the burns and plastics service, acknowledging the impact of their condition on their quality of life and that of their family.

Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate multi-disciplinary care and management of children and their families
* Provide specialist nurse practice ensuring competence in care
* Advocate for patients with Burns and Plastics injuries, and for children requiring plastic surgery
Nursing Practice and Expertise
The CNM1 will provide a nursing, education and management consultation service in all areas of the care of children within burns, plastics and wounds.
They will also contribute to the general organisation and facilitation of the day-to-day running of the Burns & Plastics service.
Requirements
Candidates must have:
* A minimum of 1 year's post-registration full-time experience
* A minimum of 1 year's experience in specialist area of Paediatric Burns and Plastic surgery
* Continuing professional development (CPD) relevant to the specialist area
