Our client is an expanding global pharmaceutical organisation undergoing significant site expansion and transformation at its Cork-based manufacturing facility.
As part of this growth, they are seeking an experienced
Supply Chain Director
to provide strong, visible leadership across end-to-end supply chain operations.
This is a senior site leadership role with full accountability for supply chain strategy, execution, and team development within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
The Role
You will lead all site supply chain activities, ensuring robust planning, execution, and delivery while supporting ongoing scale-up and transformation.
Working closely with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and commercial stakeholders, you will play a key role in improving rigour, predictability, and performance across the operation.
Key responsibilities include:
Full ownership of
end-to-end site supply chain
, including planning, logistics, warehousing, distribution, and import/export activities
Defining and implementing
best-practice supply chain processes
, aligned with group standards and local operational needs
Leading supply chain transformation initiatives to support
capacity expansion, efficiency, and service performance
Driving strong cross-functional collaboration to resolve complex operational challenges
Setting and managing
inventory targets, KPIs, and budgets
, ensuring operational and regulatory compliance
Acting as a trusted supply chain expert, providing guidance on governance, compliance, and continuous improvement
Leading, coaching, and developing supply chain teams
, building capability, engagement, and succession within the function
About You
You will be an experienced supply chain leader with a strong track record in manufacturing-led environments and a clear people-first leadership style.
Key requirements include:
Senior supply chain leadership experience within
Pharmaceutical, FMCG or Medical Device manufacturing
environments
Proven capability across
end-to-end supply chain processes
, including planning, logistics, warehousing, and distribution
Demonstrated experience leading teams through
change, growth, or site transformation
Strong people management skills, with clear evidence of
team development and organisational build-out
Solid understanding of
GMP and regulated manufacturing environments
