Site Construction Manager
Your new role will be to work with a highly skilled team on large construction projects in Galway, Sligo and Athlone.
Key Responsibilities:
* Establish and maintain procedures with design teams, clients, and subcontractors for information flow, approvals, meetings, and reporting.
* Record all daily activities, relevant information, and occurrences in site management systems.
* Ensure compliance with ISO company procedures.
* Report to the management team on programme schedules and ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and building standards.
* Conduct surveys and ensure engineering details are being followed on-site.
* Supervise subcontractors and check the quality of works.
* Conduct document reviews, scheduling, and attend site meetings to ensure overall compliance with building schedules.
* Report to project managers and senior management teams on all aspects of engineering relating to projects.
* Manage and provide training to junior staff and engineers.
* Ensure compliance with agreed construction methods, particularly those relating to Quality Assurance and Health & Safety.
* Manage project close-out, including securing warranties, guarantees, and acceptance of work, subcontract, and vendor closing, including as-built submissions.
* Set out using total stations and GPS equipment.
Requirements:
* Strong knowledge of construction practices and procedures.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Familiarity with site management systems.
* Ability to work well under pressure.
