We are currently seeking a Bar Manager who leads with care — someone who brings professionalism, passion, empathy and a proactive attitude to every interaction and every shift. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a high-volume food & beverage venue and will take full responsibility for managing the bar, our team and provide exceptional care to our amazing guests.
You will be a natural team player, committed to high standards and motivated by the impact your care and attention have on both our guests and your colleagues. A “can-do” attitude and a willingness to support and grow alongside your team is essential.

Key Responsibilities – Leading with Care

* Work with hotel leadership to establish and maintain caring, high-quality standards of performance across the bar and wider food & beverage operations.
* Implement efficient and effective systems that support both team wellbeing and productivity.
* Create and manage rotas that balance service needs with employee care and cost-efficiency.
* Keep the team informed of guest expectations and business trends — ensuring we remain agile and guest-focused.
* Attend daily meetings, contributing insights with care for continuous improvement.
* Take full ownership of departmental budgets and collaborate with leadership to manage costs with care and intention.
* Support regular stocktakes and ensure responsible entertainment bookings that bring value and delight to our guests.
* Maintain clear systems for business reporting and planning, always with foresight and care.
* Actively promote the hotel and represent our values with integrity and pride.
* Plan and prepare detailed action plans for events, ensuring the bar team is well-supported and set up for success.
* Maintain rigorous, practical cash-handling procedures to safeguard the business and staff.
* Lead, manage and care for the bar team to ensure consistent delivery of operational standards.
* Provide training and development opportunities that empower your team to grow and thrive.
* Deliver monthly training plans and identify individual development needs with a caring, tailored approach.
* Take part in regular staff appraisals and be a champion of supportive feedback and recognition.
