For more information, please visit Position SummaryThe position is responsible for general ledger-related reporting duties for European entities.#LI-hybridPrincipal ResponsibilitiesAssist EMEA Finance in preparation of US GAAP accounts and month end closePosting of key journals in accordance with month end checklistCompletion of Balance sheet reconciliations in line with Corporate deadlinesFacilitate preparation of month end reporting packs and supplementary reportsPreparation of Intercompany reconciliationsInteraction with the Transaction Processing groupProvide information requested by internal and external auditorsAd hoc tasks as required to support Finance FunctionBack up for other colleagues where necessaryEducation / Experience RequirementsQualified or Part Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)Business Degree or Diploma including AccountingPrevious Experience in a Shared Service CentreSAP user level experienceStrong sense of discretion and confidentiality.Excellent IT skills with a working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Strong attention to detail with good time management skillsThe ability to work effectively under pressure and to strict deadlines.Specialized Skills / Other RequirementsA friendly enthusiastic, professional and welcoming manner.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with employees of all levels.Flexible and adaptable work ethic.Able to work on own initiative and as a team player.Good organisational skills with cultural awareness and sensitivity.Good analytical and problem solving abilityTeleflex is an equal opportunity employer.
