Role Purpose
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing an existing portfolio
of commercial and technology clients.
This role is client facing requiring a combination of technical expertise, client relationship management, engaging with insurers and business development skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide expert insurance advice and tailored solutions to clients.
• Negotiate and place insurance programmes with a wide range of insurers.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the overall growth strategy.
• Build and maintain long-term client and insurer relationships.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal processes.
• Prepare and deliver client presentations, renewal reports, and market analysis.
Requirements
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Commercial Broker,
• Qualified APA, CIP, MDI, or ACII (or working towards completion).
• Proven track record of portfolio management, retention, and growth.
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance products.
• Experience of Applied Relay system advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Highly self-motivated with strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
