This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-performing manufacturing environment, supporting multiple production cells and drivingAbout the RoleThe Production Support Engineer will play a key role in maintaining and improving manufacturing processes. You will collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to ensure efficiency, reliability, and high-quality output across production lines.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and optimise existing manufacturing processes and product quality.Define and validate processes for new or upgraded products.Provide technical support for assembly jigs, fixtures, and test equipment.Conduct process analysis and prepare quality reports.Work closely with Engineers and Production staff to implement improvements.Collaborate with Product Designers to ensure design-for-assembly principles are achieved.RequirementsDegree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).Minimum 2 years’ experience in a medium or high-volume manufacturing environment.Strong technical background with practical, hands‑on ability.Experience using structured problem‑solving techniques.Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a proactive approach.Knowledge of Six Sigma tools such as SPC, Gauge R&R, and Process Capability.Data analysis experience using Excel, Power BI, SQL, or VBA.Exposure to Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement projects.Experience designing and validating fixtures.Ability to interpret technical drawings, including GD&T.What’s on OfferOpportunity to join a leading, innovative manufacturer.Collaborative working environment with strong technical support.Excellent prospects for professional development and career growth.LocationSwords, Co.
