We are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to join our Bord Gais Energy business team. If you are a self-driven and motivated business Sales Representative, we want to hear from youThe successful candidate will be responsible for selling on behalf of Bord Gáis Energy in a defined geographical area, selling electricity and gas services to the SME market. The successful candidate will be building up their pipeline through cold calling, appointment setting, referrals & networking groups.We have numerous ongoing development courses (nationally accredited and award winning) for all our High Potential High Performers, some of the best employee benefits in the country: including Healthcare, Pension, VIP Premier League tickets, 1878 access to the 3-arena for all employees, monthly employee social nights and much much more…The Role:Seeking out and targeting new customers and new sales opportunities through quality cold calling into businesses and organisations in your territoryStructured telephone appointment settingMeet with business owners to review their energy needs and offer a full quotation on their accountsNegotiating with larger business groupsMaintaining the highest standards when completing Customer Applications in line with all company compliance standardsBuild and manage a pipeline and develop detailed journey plans to utilise your time effectively and efficientlyAbout you:Full clean driver's licence & own vehicle essential.Experience in a B2B/B2C Energy sales environment is highly regardedStrong organisational skills to maximise opportunities from appointments and to ensure quality journey planning.Proven track record in exceeding sales targets month on month in a fast paced sales environmentPro-active and strategic in approach, recognises and considers the bigger picture.Benefits:Salary: Basic salary of €30,000Allowance: Car allowance of €6,000Commission: Competitive commission structure with OTE €42,000Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5:30pm (No Weekends or bank holidays)Devices: Company phone and tabletHealthcare & Pension: Private health insurance (LAYA) and company pension schemeAnnual Leave: 20 days paid per year, plus 1 additional day for every year based on tenure - up to 25 daysTraining: Full Training and on-going Sales coaching providedRewards: Monthly performance and Engagement IncentivesEAP: Employee assistance programmeDevelopment: Talent management programmes and career development opportunitiesPerformance review: Annual performance review process linked to pay reviewsRefer A Friend Incentive: Earn €1,000 per referralPerks: VIP Premier League tickets, 1878 access to the 3-arena, Social nights 7 much moreBordGaisB2BJob Types: Full-time, Permanent
