Join us as a Product Owner for the Agent Assist platform powering Colonial Life sales. Partnering with a Senior Product Owner, you'll own and manage a complex backlog of value‑driving enhancements for our one‑stop shop used across the Colonial Life field organization—serving both W‑2 and 1099 agents. You'll navigate a wide spectrum of stakeholders and business areas, translate needs into clear priorities, and keep delivery moving in a fast‑paced environment. If you thrive on structuring ambiguity, aligning teams, and shipping meaningful improvements continuously throughout the year, this role offers a dynamic opportunity to drive impact at scale.
The Role
* Define and execute product roadmaps aligned with business strategy.
* Translate client needs into actionable backlog items and maintain a prioritized backlog.
* Set KPIs, track adoption, and monitor benefit realization for delivered solutions.
* Engage with stakeholders and clients to validate assumptions and gather feedback.
* Ensure technical integrity and operational readiness for new capabilities.
* Apply Agile methodologies and leverage tools for planning, estimation, and progress tracking.
* Stay informed on industry trends and share best practices within Product Owner forums.
What You Offer
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
* Strong communication skills with ability to simplify technical concepts.
* Proven experience delivering technical projects and leading teams.
* Product Owner certification (PSPO/CSPO) preferred.
* Solid understanding of product lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
* Technical acumen to collaborate with architects and development teams.
* Ability to influence decisions, drive change, and engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Creative problem-solving, negotiation, and adaptability in ambiguous situations.
* Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and commitment to continuous improvement.
