Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development and Fundraising specialist, located in the Limerick Metropolitan Area. The role involves identifying and developing funding opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with donors and sponsors, organizing fundraising events, and writing grant proposals. Additionally, the specialist will be responsible for creating and executing strategies to increase the Trust’s visibility and financial support.
Qualifications
* Business Development and Fundraising experience, including identifying funding opportunities and writing grant proposals
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to engage with donors, sponsors, and stakeholders
* Project management skills with the ability to organize events and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Knowledge of marketing and public relations strategies to enhance visibility and support
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Experience in the non-profit sector is a plus
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
* Proficiency in MS Office and fundraising software
