Job description
Avoca operates 13 Store locations, a Central Bakery & Kitchen, Central Stores, and a Weaving Production Mill. The Avoca Mount Usher store seeks Retail Assistants who are passionate about customer service. This part‑time role starts immediately.
Responsibilities
Provide highest standards of customer service.
Ensure areas are always in line with Avoca's brand standards.
Manage cash handling and use of the point‑of‑sale system.
Manage stock levels and maintain the offering.
Complete opening and closing duties as outlined by line manager.
Use computer skills for promotion of gift cards and special offers.
Handle or escalation of customer complaints.
Qualifications
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
Attention to detail and strong merchandising skills.
Well‑developed interest in jewellery (advantage, not essential).
Excellent timekeeping.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Initiative while working as part of a team.
