An established three-partner chartered accountancy practice based in North County Dublin is seeking a Part-Qualified Accountant to join its Accounts Department. The firm has been providing professional accountancy and business advisory services for over 30 years to a broad range of clients across various industries. The office is easily accessible from Dublin city and surrounding areas, located less than 10 minutes from the M50.The successful candidate will support the Accounts Services Manager in preparing year-end accounts, management accounts, and corporation tax returns. This is a hands-on role that involves direct client interaction, financial statement preparation, and assisting managers with client assignments. Candidates must have at leasttwo years of general accounts preparation experiencewithin an accountancy practice.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesPreparation of year-end non-audit company accounts and working papers to review stage.Reconciliation of balance sheet items including VAT, payroll, leases, hire purchases, and fixed assets.Posting journals and applying a solid understanding of accounting principles.Assistance with management account preparation.Preparation of statutory financial statements within agreed deadlines and firm procedures.Support with year-end closeout and journal entries.Preparation of corporation tax returns.Liaising with clients by phone and email.Assisting managers with special client assignments.Candidate RequirementsQualifications and Experience:Part-qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent).Minimum 2+ years' general accounting practice experience .Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience in accounts preparation.Skills and Competencies:Results-oriented with strong attention to detail.Excellent communication and client service skills.Strong planning and organisational skills.Proficient in written and spoken English.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Technical Expertise:CCH Accounts Production.Excel (intermediate to advanced).Surf, Xero, and Sage Line 50.Microsoft Office Suite.Corporation Tax Pro.If this sounds like an opportunity you may be interested in, then please feel free to reach out to Neil in total confidenceDesired Skills and ExperienceAccounts preparation, balance sheet reconciliation, technical accounting knowledge, accounting software proficiency (CCH Accounts Production, Xero, Sage Line 50, Excel), client communication, organisation and time managementRobert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates
