Key Responsibilities:
* Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management and staff supervision;
* Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity and profitability;
* Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and hygiene;
* Recruit, train and develop a talented team of chefs and kitchen staff;
* Collaborate with the Head Chef and other senior managers to achieve business objectives;
* Contribute to the development of new menus, recipes and culinary concepts;
* Monitor and control costs, including labor, ingredients and equipment expenses.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2+ years' experience as a Sous Chef in a similar establishment;
* Proven track record of success in managing kitchen teams and achieving business goals;
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff;
* Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field;
* Strong understanding of food safety protocols, quality control measures and customer satisfaction initiatives;
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
* Flexible to work 40 hours per week, including mornings, lunches and evenings, 5 days a week.
