Overview:
The Stockroom Associate plays a key role in the smooth operation of the store by managing all stockroom activities efficiently and accurately. This role is responsible for receiving, organising, and replenishing merchandise to support the sales floor in delivering an exceptional customer experience. The Stockroom Associate ensures all stock handling follows company standards, maintains a safe and organised work environment, and works closely with the store team to maximise sales opportunities and uphold the GANT brand values.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure all deliveries are received, processed, and stored according to company standards and within agreed timeframes.
* Maintain an organised and tidy stockroom, ensuring products are easy to locate and ready for quick replenishment.
* Accurately process stock transfers, returns, markdowns, and other inventory movements in line with company procedures.
* Monitor stock levels on the shop floor and replenish promptly to maximise sales opportunities.
* Assist with regular stock counts, cycle counts, and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
* Report any discrepancies, damages, or theft of stock to a member of management immediately.
* Support the sales team by preparing stock for promotions, events, and seasonal changes.
* Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and housekeeping standards in the stockroom.
* Follow visual merchandising guidelines when preparing stock for the shop floor, ensuring the brand is represented to the highest standard.
