As Workshop Controller, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Liaising with the service administrator regarding workshop loading, jobs coming in and status of the job during the day
Allocate jobs to the technicians/apprentices - discuss job requirements
Ongoing management and review of jobs 'on the floor'
Diagnostic jobs - ongoing review of diagnostic jobs.
Liaise with Master Tech as required
Closing out of jobs
Quality control/review of all completed jobs - to include job fully complete versus customer list, adequate with write up etc
Progress review meeting - 15@15 with Service Admin team and Service Manager
Warranty jobs - ensure compliance with warranty procedures
Estimates - review and verify before forwarding to the customer
