School Leaver Facilitator Role
Facilitators support individuals with intellectual disabilities in achieving their goals, including training, work, independent living skills, socializing, friendship building, and independent and supported traveling skills. Programs are adapted to prioritize safety and well-being.
* A qualification in Social Care, Training, Education, or Teaching at Fetac/QQI level 6 is required.
* Commitment to Person Directed Planning approach.
* Ability to identify and develop natural support networks, work, and social roles.
* Facilitation and support for service-users with complex needs in service-based and community programs.
The role involves working with people who have varying levels of ability and requires excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. A valid manual driving license is essential for the position.
